Most of your customers may not understand the risk of using replica / locally manufactured spare parts.
This is the responsibility of maintenance company to explain the associated risks and always advise to use original spare parts manufactured by OEM, even if they are very expensive. There are several components, which are directly linked with the safety of elevators and they may put human life into extreme risk.
Such components should not be replaced with cheap parts, which may lead to serious accidents.
This is my personal experience that the 3rd party maintenance companies compromise on the safety and quality factors in order for a temporary monetary gain, however this is professional and business ethics to “NOT” compromise on human safety even if you loose a contract.
