Hi Lift Engineers,
I have personally observed that in most of the buildings, the machine room is not locked or unauthorized persons can easily access lift machine room, which is very hazardous activity for those, who enter machine room for any work along moving or rotary lift parts.
As a lift professional, this is our responsibility to educate the building management to keep the machine room door properly locked and don’t allow anyone to enter without the guidance of lift maintenance personals.
Thought to share my experience with fellow lift professionals.
