Fall Hazard During Elevator Installation

𝐅𝐀𝐋𝐋 𝐇𝐀𝐙𝐀𝐑𝐃 𝐃𝐔𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐄𝐋𝐄𝐕𝐀𝐓𝐎𝐑 𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍:

Protecting installation technicians from falls during elevator installation on scaffolding requires a proactive approach.

✅ First, provide comprehensive safety training, focusing on working at heights, proper use of tools, and emergency procedures. Ensure all scaffolding is assembled and inspected by certified personnel before use, meeting International or Local safety standards.

✅ Equip technicians with personal protective equipment (PPE), including full-body harnesses, helmets, and anti-slip footwear. Use fall arrest systems such as lanyards and anchor points to prevent accidents.

✅ Clearly mark hazardous zones and restrict access to non-essential personnel.

✅ Promote a safety-first culture, encouraging open communication about risks.

✅ Regularly review safety protocols and conduct site audits to maintain high standards, ensuring technicians remain secure while delivering quality installations.
